The design of the Tranquility pendant was inspired by the historic moon landing in 1969, when Apollo 11 landed on the moon and the first steps were taken with Neil Armstrongs iconic line ‘That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind’
Depicted in this piece the 3 Sterling Silver spheres represent the 3 crew members (Neil Armstrong, Edwin ‘Buzz’ Aldrin and Michael Collins), whilst the textured base represents the atmospheric underfoot of Tranquilty Base, the specific spot within the Sea of Tranquility where they landed on the Moon.
Each piece of this pendant is carefully handcrafted in Sterling Silver and comes complete on an 18" snake chain.
The circular Pendant measures 14mm in diameter.
